Job Description:
This person will serve as an expert resource to the Nebraska Children’s Commission, its committees and work groups on the child welfare system. This position will conduct research on and analyze public policy relating to child welfare and prepare policy reports; lead projects and serve as a liaison among child welfare and juvenile justice stakeholders and the public; and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social/behavioral sciences, healthcare services, human services, or statistical analysis, and three years of experience in administering public policy related to child welfare and/or juvenile justice. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Job Duties
This person will research and explain complex concepts to others, summarize information and prepare clear and concise reports, and establish a network of child welfare system partners to develop and promote the Commission’s priorities.
