Equity Capital Markets – Consumer / Healthcare Analyst (China Focus)

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Analyst to join our Hong Kong-based ECM team, with a focus on China-related Consumer and Healthcare sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile equity capital markets transactions, partnering closely with issuers, investors, and internal teams across the region.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and execution capabilities with commercial acumen and relationship-building skills. You will play a key role in originating, evaluating, and executing ECM transactions, including IPOs and follow-on offerings, in one of the most dynamic markets globally.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth due diligence on companies, including company analysis, market and sector research, management meetings, and prospectus review.

• Perform fundamental analysis and valuation of companies, leveraging deep sector knowledge across Consumer and Healthcare.

• Support and execute ECM transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, and block trades.

• Prepare and review marketing materials, investor presentations, and transaction documentation.

• Work closely with internal teams, issuers, and institutional investors throughout the transaction lifecycle.

• Contribute to client coverage and relationship management efforts with a strong commercial and execution mindset.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.

• Prior experience from the sell-side or buy-side, including: Equity Capital Markets, Equity Research, China-focused mutual funds, Asset management or hedge funds

• China-focused experience is required, with strong understanding of onshore and offshore capital markets.

• Strong fundamental analysis and valuation skills.

• Solid understanding of ECM products and transaction processes.

• Strong commercial instincts with a sales-oriented, relationship-driven personality.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Fluent Mandarin (written and spoken) required; English fluency essential.
