About Samsung TV PlusRole and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
Identifying, evaluating and securing new opportunities within the digital media industry with the goal of creating scalable services and businesses on top of the global footprint of Samsung Smart TVs.
Key partner management, developing our existing partner relationships through mutual strategic alignment, monitoring service and financial performance and driving revenue on our existing platform whilst also integrating new services.
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership on market trends, audience behaviour, and competitive developments to inform the evolution of O&O and co-operated channels across EU16 + MENA.
Use deep understanding of the FAST ecosystem to identify growth opportunities, develop channel strategies, and shape future content pipelines aligned with long-term business objectives.
Build mid-term and long-term engagement plans that support the launch and optimisation of new and existing services within Samsung TV Plus, ensuring strategic alignment with product, commercial, and platform goals.
Contribute to the definition of unique value propositions for Samsung’s FAST channels by combining data analysis, content expertise, and market intelligence.
Support the expansion and optimisation of O&O services across Europe and MENA by developing commercially sound proposals, shaping new offerings, and ensuring channel portfolios remain competitive and differentiated.
Facilitate effective communication between regional teams and Suwon, resolving operational or strategic conflicts and ensuring consistency in rights management, deal structures, and channel strategy.
Collaborate with Product, Scheduling, Insights, and Third Party teams to maintain cohesive content-sourcing strategies and deliver consistent multi-territory channel performance.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Extensive experience negotiating and managing complex multi-territory content licensing agreements with distributors, studios, and content owners.
Strong background in content acquisition or FAST/TV/streaming environments, with deep understanding of rights, windows, and distribution models across Europe.
Proven ability to analyse audience trends, channel performance, and market intelligence to inform investment decisions and shape content strategy.
Strong financial modelling capability and comfort operating in data-driven environments; able to evaluate ROI, amortisation, and investment scenarios.
Demonstrated commercial judgement with the ability to navigate ambiguity, drive outcomes, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influencing across multiple seniority levels and territories.
Ability to develop and maintain strong partner relationships with leading content providers, ensuring alignment on strategy, delivery, and long-term value creation.
Proven track record of building and executing complex commercial agreements, including multi-region rights frameworks and scalable licensing structures.
High degree of organisational awareness and cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Product, Legal, Scheduling, Insights, Ads, and global teams.
