Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Materials Supervisor to ensure ensure the correct receipt, location, and material supply according to the production schedule, while complying with safety guidelines and established work standards. 

Key responsibilities

• Monitor order and cleanliness in the work areas.
• Continuously review that the supply of materials meets the required quantities according to procedures, ensuring proper handling and quality reliability.
• Develop continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure the availability of raw materials required for the production schedule.
• Ensure the correct replenishment of materials to production lines.
• Ensure the proper handling of materials.
• Promote safety practices in the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with FIFO within the supply chain.

What we’re looking for

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Schooling: Degree in Industrial Engineering or related
• Experience Time in similar position: 2 year or more in a similar position.
• Technical knowledge required: Understanding manufacturing processes

• Inventory control
• Warehouse management
• Materials handling
• Industrial safety and hygiene
• Lean Manufacturing
• Quality and Environmental systems

• Other requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
