Position Summary:

CVS Health is seeking a Cloud FinOps Senior Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. You will deploy various cloud services and resources, such as virtual machines, containers, serverless functions, storage, networking, and databases.

What you will do:

• Works closely with security teams to establish and enforces security best practices, performs vulnerability assessments, and addresses compliance requirements
• Implements access controls, encryption mechanisms, network security, and identity and access management (IAM) policies
• Configures and manages the infrastructure as code using tools to enable repeatable and automated deployments
• Designs and architects cloud infrastructure solutions based on the requirements
• Implements infrastructure-as-code principles to enable infrastructure changes and updates through version-controlled code repositories
• Assesses the existing infrastructure, plans the migration strategy, and executes the migration process with minimal downtime
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders, manages expectations, and ensures alignment between cloud solutions and business objectives
• Participates in training programs, certifications, or industry events to expand their knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud FinOps

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in public cloud administration and proficiency with PowerBI
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud infrastructure, services, or deployments

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$83,430.00 - $166,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
