This position provides the opportunity to join a highly visible leadership role at the intersection of refinery operations and digital innovation, where you will drive the delivery of critical End User Computing (EUC), Edge and IT infrastructure capabilities across Marathon Petroleum's refining environment. As the primary point of contact with onsite IT leaders, you will collaborate closely with onsite teams, infrastructure organizations, and business leaders to ensure reliable operations while accelerating the adoption of transformative technologies. This role oversees a growing portfolio that includes Edge computing, LoRaWAN and industrial sensoring solutions, operational drone capabilities, and mobility support to a rapidly expanding connected frontline workforce. Success requires strong operational experience, exceptional influencing skills, and a relentless drive to deliver results through cross-functional alignment and execution. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
• 10+ years of diversified IT experience
• 3+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver IT products or services aligned with business strategy, including oversight of project timelines and vendor relationships preferred
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure preferred
• Experience with Portfolio and Product management, particularly in an Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and execute plans based on established strategies and organizational objectives preferred
