The Associate Course Designer will have expertise in designing, storyboarding, and development of eLearning courses, rapid learning content, and video simulations. The ideal candidate will create short, focused, micro-learning performance support How-To content for specific workflows for the internal and external customers. They will apply relevant instructional design models and theories to develop rapid learning courses, videos, and infographics, using responsive design for modern learners.

Eligibility & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline (preferably in English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Education)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in instructional design, technical writing, video simulations and infographics for software products and hardware
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Working knowledge in eLearning development tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate preferred, MURF AI or experience in other speech to text tools)
• Experience with video editing tools (Camtasia, SnagIt or similar)
• Knowledge of graphic design tools like Photoshop and Illustrator (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Work on multiple projects while ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Needs Analysis: Collaborate with Learning Program Managers (LPMs) and Subject Matter Expert (SMEs), and product teams to gather inputs.
• Design and Storyboarding: Create high-level design outline and storyboards for interactive/non-interactive course content.
• Content Development: Design and develop interactive eLearning modules, micro-learning videos, and infographics.
• Review & Ensure Quality: Work with LPMs and SMEs for content validation and feedback implementation, ensuring the final outputs meet the defined standards.  
• Continuous Learning: Build product, process, and business knowledge to further enhance the quality of deliverables as well as to stay up to date on the industry trends.  

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in working with SMEs, performing needs analysis, content gathering and shifting, instructional design processes, and storyboarding.
• Knowledge of applied pedagogy in instructional design technology.
• Understanding of content and learning management systems
• Basic knowledge of eLearning development tools.
• Ability to follow and apply defined content standards and styles.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to new technologies.
