POSITION SUMMARY:
The Billing and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions sit at the core of the organization’s revenue cycle, an area that directly impacts cash flow, financial stability, and customer relationships. As the company has expanded geographically and operationally, these functions have become significantly more complex and carry higher levels of financial, compliance, and reputational risk.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise the Billing and Accounts Receivable teams across Mexico and Peru, with responsibility for scaling into additional markets.
Oversee end-to-end billing and receivables processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.
Ensure consistent application of organizational policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Provide structured performance management, including coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
Drive operational accountability, balancing workload distribution and ensuring goals are met.
Support organizational continuity by providing leadership depth in case of manager turnover or business expansion.
Formally supervise the Billing team, providing day-to-day oversight and structured leadership.
Drive process efficiency by standardizing and monitoring billing procedures.
Manage performance, including coaching, mentoring, and evaluations, to strengthen team capabilities.
Prioritize workloads, assign responsibilities, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Act as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and business continuity.
Monitor key performance indicators (billing accuracy, invoice cycle time, DSO, collections performance) and implement corrective actions as needed.
Ensure business continuity by balancing workloads, distributing priorities, and supporting urgent operational requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. CPA or MBA preferred
Eight (8) years of accounting experience. Three (3) years experience managing teams.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
Proficient with MS Excel and Power BI is preferred.
Fluency (speaking and writing) in both Spanish and English.
Availability to support additional hours as needed, including occasional weekends
