Your key responsibilities
Lead the identification, evaluation, and execution of investments across Europe, targeting early to late-stage opportunities.
Continuously map investment trends and develop a robust pipeline for potential partnerships and investments.
Support and handle European-based portfolio companies post-investment.
Balance strategic and financial objectives in investment decisions.
Enhance Samsung Ventures' reputation and visibility in the entrepreneurial community.
Proactively engage with the ecosystem, highlighting our value proposition.
Originate and source investment opportunities through industry networking, market research, and active participation in relevant events.
Assist in identifying and assessing strategic investment or partnership targets.
What we need for this role
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
Experience in a professional environment (investment experience not required).
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbal presentations.
Innovative and proactive, with an ambitious attitude.
Great teammate, skilled at networking and relationship-building.
Intellectually curious, always eager to explore and understand new advancements in technology.
Demonstrated analytical skills; financial modelling skills are beneficial but not essential.
Proficiency in other European languages(German or French) is a plus.

Successfully sourcing and developing new investment opportunities through diverse networks.
Effective teamwork and rapport building with HQ investment teams.
Proficiency in guiding deals from sourcing to execution.
Demonstrated ability to initiate and close investment deals.
