Business Banking Technology (BB Tech) is at the forefront of modernising our platforms and leading the use of AI across the Bank. We enable Australian businesses to prosper through technology that is smarter, faster, and more human.

We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide proactive and professional support to up to two Technology Leads and their leadership teams. This is a key role that helps our leaders operate effectively, enabling them to focus on strategic priorities and deliver impactful outcomes for our customers and people.

Do work that matters

This role is wide-reaching, requiring initiative, discretion and sound judgement.

You’ll play a critical part in creating leverage for the Tech Leads — ensuring operational excellence, coordination and communication across multiple programs and teams.

In this role, you will:

• Act as a trusted liaison between the Tech Leads, their teams, and stakeholders, maintaining alignment and communication across BB Tech and the wider Group.
• Manage complex diaries, inboxes, and priorities, ensuring leaders are well-prepared for meetings, decisions, and events.
• Prepare briefing materials, coordinate leadership meetings, track actions, and follow up to ensure delivery on commitments.
• Streamline team operations through effective coordination of onboarding, events, travel, expenses, and procurement.
• Support business rhythm activities including town halls, planning sessions, and key reporting cycles.
• Champion AI-enabled ways of working – using and promoting tools like Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity, communication, and decision-making.
• Support special initiatives across the AI and technology enablement portfolio (e.g., AI skilling, data reporting, or process improvement).

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Have 5+ years’ experience as an EA supporting senior leaders (e.g., General Manager or equivalent) in a large, complex organisation.
• Demonstrate exceptional organisational, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Exhibit high levels of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
• Thrive under pressure, managing multiple priorities and fast-changing demands.
• Bring strong technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 and confidence working with emerging AI tools.
• Show curiosity, adaptability and a proactive approach to improving processes and outcomes.
