Citi’s Securities Services is a business unit in the Services group that generates nearly $4Bn in annual revenue for Citi.  Australia includes a full suite of Securities Services products—Custody, Fund Services, Execution Services, and Issuer Services.

The Business Execution Manager supports the development of the Securities Services business for Australia and New Zealand. This role is responsibility for the development and management of the country strategic plan, working with the country business head to ensure that requisite focus is provided for key deliverables, risks and issues across the franchise. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, partnership and diplomacy skills and will be working constantly with seniors across the Australia franchise, within the Securities Services leadership team in Australia and in the regional office.  They will develop a profound understanding of the business in Australia, and with the management team will have a direct impact on the achievement of the goals that are established.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of Financials reporting

  • Coordinate a range of programs in support of the business’s primary goals and objectives (Profitability initiatives; Billing Efficiency initiatives)

  • Coordination and management of franchise reporting (MBRs, QBRs, Strategy definition decks)

  • Expense management oversight

  • COB testing coordinate

  • Team meeting coordination, agenda and meeting minutes

  • Weekly team update

  • SS strategy coordination.

  • Quarterly coordination of POA signatory across legal entities.

  • Quarterly review AML designated services register.

  • Semi-annual Legal Entity Regulatory overview Australia and New Zealand.

  • Annual review third-party management, coordination of attestations.

  • Employee onboarding and offboarding. GOC management.

  • Recruitment coordination.

  • Quarterly ACSA Stats.

  • Org chart maintenance.

  • SharePoint team maintenance.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience within similar business execution roles, or within the Securities Services domain.

  • Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to solving problems and achieving targets within a matrix management construct.

  • Experience with financial analytics and planning

  • Passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission oriented and self-directed.

  • Excellent influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills with key stakeholders and Senior Management.

  • Strategic and goal-oriented thinker.

  • Effective interpersonal skills – including teamwork and organizational skills.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • A persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.

  • Monitoring both scheduled and unscheduled reviews to completion.

  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize.


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
