Role Summary
The Consultant will support application assessment, CI/CD based application planning, application migration, CI/CD pipeline creation, and application deployment activities.
The role will work within a large scale application deployment program, supporting DevOps and Infrastructure deployment teams, and ensuring reliable, automated, and repeatable deployments across environments.

Key Responsibilities
Application Assessment & Planning
Execute application assessments to evaluate deployment readiness, CI/CD maturity, and migration feasibility.
Gather and validate application inputs including dependencies, interfaces, environments, and deployment models.
Support CI/CD based application planning and migration wave execution.

CI/CD Pipeline Creation & Automation
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:
o GitHub Actions
o Jenkins
Implement automated build, test, security scan, and deployment stages.
Support pipeline cloning, updates, and standardization across applications.
Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and deployment issues.

Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Support environment provisioning and deployment automation.
Implement configuration management and post deployment automation using Ansible.
Integrate Terraform and Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines.

Application Migration & Deployment
Support application migration activities (on prem to cloud / hybrid).
Execute application deployments across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Perform deployment validation, smoke testing, and post deployment checks.
Assist in cutover execution and hypercare support.

DevOps & Infrastructure Deployment Support
Work closely with DevOps, Infrastructure, Platform, and Security teams.
Support environment readiness, deployment coordination, and issue resolution.
Contribute to runbooks, deployment documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Technical Skills
CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
Configuration Management: Ansible
Application deployment and migration execution
CI/CD pipeline automation and troubleshooting
DevOps and Infrastructure deployment coordination

Preferred / Good to Have
Experience with cloud or hybrid environments
Exposure to large scale application migration programs
Experience working in deployment or migration factories
Familiarity with cutover and hypercare execution





Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 9 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
