Job Description

The Prime Brokerage Relationship Sales person is responsible for driving growth with our existing Equity, Fixed Income and Synthetic Prime Brokerage client base.   As a seasoned relationship manager, you will work to understand your clients and their needs, ensuring they understand our platform and capabilities, and help to provide customized solutions, while delivering best in class service.

Responsibilities:

    • Deliver client satisfaction and enhanced financial results through the management of service/operational issues impacting the target clients
    • Coordinate internal resources to ensure that client satisfaction is high
    • Identify clients’ business needs and work with internal partners to deliver solutions, adding value and cross-selling Citi products
    • Perform regular service reviews and develop actions plans to address issues/deliver solutions as well as perform regular face-to-face client meetings
    • Lead strong governance and controls
    • Work in close partnership with Transition Management and Origination Sales to ensure smooth onboarding and connectivity to the Citi Prime platform
    • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure
    • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
    • Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for the Prime Services and Equities franchise
    • Adhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to you
    • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

    • 15+ years of relevant experience
    • Proven analytical and organizational skills
    • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
    • Consistently demonstrate self-motivation and ability to lead people
    • Series 7 & 63.

Education:

    • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
    • Master's degree preferred
