Position Summary

Rx Inventory Optimization Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day management activities related to movement of pharmacy inventory.  This role is focused on supporting new and existing transfer programs.  This will include constant communication both verbal and written with Pharmacy store teams in addition to performing root cause analysis and problem-solving resolution ensuring financial accuracy.  Due to the scope of the role and impacts within the organization, this position will interact with pharmacy store teams and several departments specifically, but not limited to Finance, Help Desk, and Pharmacy Operations.  The Pharmacy Inventory Optimization Specialist requires a strong understanding of store processes to include the financial result of store transactions.

Responsibilities-

  • Support day to day inventory management activities related to Ambient and Cold Chain programs
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem resolution to ensure accurate financial reconciliation
  • Provide actionable analysis regarding program effectiveness with recommendations for additional opportunities
  • Produce reporting and monitor store adherence to the programs
  • Communication with Pharmacy store teams


Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years experience in supply chain, retail, or healthcare areas
  • Solid working knowledge of all MS Operating Systems and MS Office applications
  • Experience with customer service skills such as telephone skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team atmosphere

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to set work priorities for multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and efficiently resolve issues and interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to initiate efforts to improve operational efficiencies, streamline procedures and achieve set goals


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.80

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
