Job Description Summary:

• Provides clinical support to health care professionals to ensure the delivery of quality health care services with problem solving and resource allocation, clarifying root causes and driving cross functional problem solving in the team as a whole.
• Responsible for cost-effective utilization of employees and other resources while maintaining high standards of quality, service, and satisfaction.
• Oversees and leads activities of clinical staff.
• Serves as a clinical subject matter expert in the practice. Trains new clinical staff.
• Leads and promotes clinical quality and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart AssociationAmerican Heart AssociationAmerican Heart Association

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Completion of School of Medical Assisting or
  • Completion of Military medic training (deployed)
  • Successful completion of a competency based orientation program.
  • 3+ years’ experience working as a certified medical assistant in PCP practice or like practice for which they are applying
  • LIFE SUPPORT \ Basic Life Support (BLS) within In 120 days of hire

Upon Hire: Certified by a National Certifying Organization (not limited to those listed below):

  • CMA
  • RMA
  • CCMA
  • NCMA
  • NRCMA
