Provides basic maintenance of records and customer service to vendors, customers and other internal functions regarding shipments to or from UM.

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Provides shipping services including bill of ladings, packing slips, export paperwork, or compliance documents. Ensures shipping protocols and documentation meet required regulatory requirements. Provides hazardous goods documentation as required for shipping products. Provides shipping receiving services ensuring that all incoming materials are recorded in the ERP system, marked properly for inventory and transported to the appropriate location. Coordinates shipment identifying the most efficient and cost-effective rates to meet contract delivery requirements. Loads and unloads deliveries by hand or using material handling equipment, moving materials throughout the assigned facility as needed. Researches and resolves material shipping issues including invoicing.

Typically, a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of related experience.
