This key leadership role within our matrix organization oversees clinical operational activities and performance in an assigned region, emphasizing customer connections and commercial activities. The role involves leading a team of Country Cluster or delivery group leads, with overall accountability for quality management, resource allocation, financial performance, talent retention, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide operational leadership for a region, driving the organization towards goals in Full Service, FSP, hybrid, and/or Site Readiness business units.
• Set financial targets and be accountable for the region's performance, including growth, financial outcomes, productivity, quality, and employee engagement.
• Exhibit strong leadership within the matrix organization, building internal stakeholder networks and influencing peers and departments.
• Partner with Clinical Delivery Leaders to ensure projects meet budget and timeline requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity both regionally and globally.
• Manage resources and budget to meet profitability goals.
• Collaborate with BD, SDG, and Operational Delivery leads to identify and support business growth opportunities in the region.
• Serve as a regional or Clinical Network expert in bid-defense meetings.

Requirements:

•    Education level: University/college degree – life sciences preferred or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (e.g., nursing certification, medical or laboratory technician)

•    Minimum of 10 (ten) years supervisory experience, including 5 (five) years of managing managers, and 2 (two) years of leading a country(ies) in a healthcare or clinical research setting.
•    Minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO

•    Demonstrated ability to identify and lead initiatives that drive company strategy 
•    Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and mitigate delivery and customer satisfaction risks
•    Demonstrated ability to inspire effective teamwork and influence employees within a matrix system
•    Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and deliver to customer needs 
•    Working knowledge and understanding of resource management, tools and team development
