To perform the job successfully, the candidate should have a basic understanding of Tax and accounting concepts and excellent analytical & problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines and good communications is critical. Basic or Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Internet navigation and research is preferred. Knowledge on PropertyPoint application is a plus but not mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Tax bill processing
- Handling internal escalations that require online research and reassignments to US
- Working on weekly reports and special projects with minimum supervision
- Completes tasks assigned by Management with a sense of urgency and confidentiality where needed
- Take necessary steps to avoid errors and ensure Quality of work is delivered to US office
- To ensure adherence to Service Line Agreement always
- To attend and actively participate in meetings, offering ideas, insights, and recommendations towards process improvements, which will enable team to improve its overall efficiency
- To work under minimum supervision and to comply with established procedures or as directed by Team Leader/Assistant Manager
- Develop an understanding of Ryan service offerings
- Tracking the updates in SOPs/Job Aid for internal and external reference
- Assist Team Lead/Assistant Manager in preparing Project status/Dashboard reports etc.
Education and Experience:
- Masters or bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting/ Business
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have expert skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
Work Environment:
- The current work hours are 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Shift change is anticipated depending on US work hours/time zone and business need
- Candidate should be willing to work on any shift
- A reasonable amount of overtime will be required during peak season
- Standard indoor working environment
- Position requires regular interaction with employees in India and the US via e-mail & Phone calls.
