Are you a strategic thinker with a knack for negotiations? IDEXX is seeking a skilled Deal Desk Manager to join our dynamic SaaS business team! The Deal Desk Manager will play a crucial role in managing the deal structuring, pricing, and approval process to ensure that we maximize revenue opportunities while minimizing risk. You will work hand-in-hand with our sales and finance team to craft compelling offers and secure profitable contracts; negotiate like a pro, and become a trusted advisor analyze data to identify opportunities and minimize risk.

In This Role:

  • You will collaborate with sales, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to structure deals that meet customer needs while aligning with company objectives.
  • You will develop and maintain deal approval processes and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • You will analyze deal performance and provide insights to optimize pricing strategies and discounting practices.
  • You will serve as a project lead on pricing, licensing models, and contract terms to support sales teams in negotiations.
  • You will review and approve non-standard contract terms, including SLAs, data security requirements, and other customer-specific requests.
  • You will partner with sales operations to develop and maintain deal desk tools, templates, and training materials.
  • You will collaborate with product marketing and management to align pricing and packaging strategies with product roadmap and market demand.
  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline deal desk processes and enhance overall sales effectiveness.
  • You will partner with Sales Operations on pipeline reporting for leadership insight and necessary approvals and provide guard rails deal strategy, margin control, and non-standard requests.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Proven experience in deal desk management, pricing strategy, or sales operations within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and contract negotiation best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, CPQ tools, and other sales enablement technologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing priorities.
