ANALYST, SALES OPERATIONS (INVENTORY MANAGEMENT)

Role Summary: Analyst is responsible for accurate, timely, and audit-ready execution of (1) Quoted Inventory Repricing (quoted inventory price protection / inventory price protection) and (2) Field Transfer processing between distributors. This role validates distributor requests, performs required system transactions and uploads, and coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure correct inventory valuation, price bucket accuracy, and proper creation of credit/debit billing documents.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

  • As DRI for Quoted Inventory Repricing (Inventory Price Protection) processing:
    • Validate distributor request templates for completeness and accuracy (eg., S4 tracking number, request/effective date, part number, PO and line number, original invoice, requested quantity, old vs new cost, old/new quote reference, calculated price adjustment).
    • Confirm eligibility and policy alignment of the requests.
    • Execute the QIR deliverables based on given timeline.
    • Respond to requesting distributors with sales order and/or credit/debit references and contribute to weekly reporting and billing document tracking as required by the process.
    • Partner with Pricing, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Customer Operations, and IT to resolve exceptions, address root causes, and prevent repeat defects.
    • Review and update process documentation, templates, and trackers to keep current with system/process changes.
  • As DRI for Field Transfer (FTR) processing between distributors
    • Ensure FTR requests follow regional rules and validations (eg., pricebook vs non-pricebook handling; export licensing restrictions, insufficient inventory due to incorrect reporting, or requests that are not true FTRs).
    • Execute the FTR deliverables based on given timeline
    • Communicate with distributors and internal partners to resolve validation errors confirm quote references, and result of the processing
    • Controls, documentation, and continuous improvement
    • Maintain complete audit trail documentation for each transaction
    • Monitor and manage work queues and SLAs
    • Partner with Pricing, Finance, Accounts Receivable, Customer Operations, and IT to resolve exceptions, address root causes, and prevent repeat defects.
    • Review and update process documentation, templates, and trackers to keep current with system/process changes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Strong Excel skills and data analysis (able to validate calculations, reconcile quantities/costs, and work with upload templates).
  • Detail-oriented and organized; able to manage multiple requests and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating with external distributors and internal partners.
  • Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of enterprise tools used in the process (SAP S/4HANA, Qlikview, Power BI and Model N)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting global distributor/channel operations
  • Prior experience in audit support and SOX documentation controls.
