About the Role

This dynamic position will be responsible for providing the highest quality nursing care within our Palliative Care in-patient Unit. Acting as a role model, you will demonstrate strong clinical knowledge and implement ‘best practice’ clinical skills.

You will also:

  • Maintain and further develop your level of clinical competence

  • Demonstrate a Person Care Approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice

  • Demonstrate active pursuit of professional development relating to Palliative Care, and areas pertinent to nursing

Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 per annum, pro-rata).

Your Contribution

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for palliative care. Experience in palliative care desired but not essential.

You will also have:

  • Current AHPRA Registration

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Palliative Care Unit

The Palliative Care in-patient Unit Kew, is a unit specialising in the care of patients with life limiting illness who may also have multiple medical co-morbidities. Our patient's are admitted mainly for end of life care, complex symptom management, discharge planning and occasional respite. Care and discharge planning is provided by an inter-disciplinary team.
