Position: Purchasing Supervisor 

Principal Responsibilities: 

  • Operational Oversight & Compliance 
  • Ensure timely creation of Purchase Orders in alignment with domain SLAs and full compliance with the Enterprise Global Procurement Policy, including proper approvals and documentation. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact for procurement compliance across the Americas, ensuring adherence to approved Global Procurement policies and procedures. 
  • Serve as the regional representative for purchasing ethics and compliance, supporting both internal and external audit processes. 
  • Team Leadership & Development 
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing purchasing team of 9 headcount, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. 
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing training to new employees and requesters on purchasing policies, procedures, and systems. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication 
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with field leaders, internal requesters, and cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Service, Service, Accounts Payable, Manufacturing, Materials, Finance, IT, and HR. 
  • Communicate procurement policies and updates clearly and consistently across the Americas organization. 
  • Process Management & Strategic Support 
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of purchasing requisitions, ensuring timely approvals or denials and proactive communication with requesters. 
  • Develop and execute country-specific transition plans for ERP and business system migrations. 
  • Provide strategic support and solutions for day-to-day purchasing inquiries and issue resolution. 
  • Performance & Analytics 
  • Design, maintain, and continuously improve procurement KPIs using Power BI to drive data-informed decisions and operational transparency. 
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, profitability, and service levels through procurement best practices. 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of Procurement experience 
  • Experience in Team Management
