Job Summary**

The Logistics Trainee will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of supply chain management and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is designed to provide comprehensive exposure to warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and customs processes, supporting the efficient flow of goods for VALEO SYLVANIA ILUMINACION.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling and tracking.
* Support inventory management activities, such as cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and data entry.
* Learn and apply company procedures for warehousing, material handling, and storage.
* Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, purchasing) to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Assist in preparing and reviewing logistics documentation, including shipping labels, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
* Participate in projects aimed at improving logistics efficiency and reducing costs.
* Support the monitoring of logistics performance metrics and contribute to report generation.
* Help ensure compliance with international and local transportation regulations.
* Learn to operate logistics-related software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
* Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned by the logistics team.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
* Basic understanding of supply chain principles is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
* Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed for operational tasks.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
