Job Summary

We are looking for financial CA interns to identify, evaluate and implement simplification and automation projects for Thomson Reuters Finance.  The responsibilities for the CA interns would include understanding current workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing/developing processes and workflows for the TR Finance group-using Alteryx, Power BI, etc.  The larger goal of these projects would be to simplify, streamline and standardize the existing Finance processes, reports, and analytics.

About the role : 

  • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to identify and simplify the existing process. 

  • Working on current workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing/developing processes  

  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. 

  • Able to apply knowledge and skills to solve straight forward problems. 

  • Acts under guidance to develop, test and implement the developments 

 

About you : 

  • Passionate individuals looking to start their career in the field of Finance and Accounts 

  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and Financial analysis fundamentals including data interpretation. 

  • Enthusiastic to work on practical business scenarios and apply the knowledge gained during academics 

  • Good Problem Solving, Analytical and Troubleshooting skills. 

  • Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. 

  • Self-starters with evidence of intellectual curiosity. 

 Education 

Candidate pursuing Chartered Accountancy course and eligible for Corporate Internship program as per the guidelines of ICAI
