Job Summary:

This role assists with technical analysis of ASSEMBLY processes in all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance with safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing. Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes. Monitoring equipment and process reliability; identifying and addressing problem areas. Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas. Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.

Job role:

  • Analyze and follow blueprints/drawings/specifications to ensure product and customer specifications.
  • Monitoring and implementation of engineering changes.
  • Attend follow-up meetings in collaboration with design to discuss improvements and/or areas of opportunity identified.
  • Be responsible for proper documentation for current production (PPAP, APQP, etc...)
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining routes in SAP.
  • Responsible for ensuring the correct use of tools/Poka yoke/materials to ensure the correct use.
  • Apply and explain to manufacturing operations specifications of prints and ensure the correct procedure to follow them.
  • Develop new manufacturing technologies in the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect manufacturing work environment to find safety hazards/violations and determine an appropriate action to counter them.
  • Responsible for tracking the monthly report on Value Stream expenses.
  • Be responsible for collecting data, such as safety findings, quality problems, daily output and root cause analysis.
  • Work closely with operations to achieve speed objectives.
  • Analyze monthly demand for balancing letters.

Degree requirement:

Completed bachelor's degree in industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or a related field.

English level A2-B1

Skills that the candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Advises on advanced data analysis methodologies and technologies to make more informed decisions.
  • Coaches others on improving the validity and reliability of data used in various Decision-Making processes.
  • Execute KPIs and metrics to analyze data and influence decisions.
  • Seeks input from multiple sources to generate diverse ideas for Decision Making.

Lean Manufacturing

  • Continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, A3, PDCA, Pareto, fishbone diagram.
  • Blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Manufacturing Processes

  • Working knowledge in manufacturing process.
  • Familiar with MS Office packages, AutoCAD, Visualization software.
  • Data analysis applied to manufacturing.

Additional information

  • Located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:24 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) and Support for operations once a month on weekends.
