Job Summary:

The Lead Conversions will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the venue related to preparation and set up for T-Mobile Center events.  

Essential Duties:

  • Lead/oversee staff in the completion of setups and conversions, ensuring work is completed accurately and timely, enforcing safety procedures and best practices while maintaining superior customer service.            
  • Assist in the management and development of part-time staff.  This includes, but is not limited to, training employees on operations conversions, equipment, and procedures, while working with Managers and Supervisors to promote a safe working environment for all employee(s).       
  • Lead duties to maintain the operations of the facility, including maintaining department equipment, storage facilities, and tools, and maintaining the building’s overall appearance.    
  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve facility operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Assist in maintaining department inventory of supplies and equipment, and keep current forklift and aerial lift certifications, while completing the daily assigned task list.  
  • Work with the Operations Manager and Supervisors to resolve employee issues, and ensure facility rules are followed, and that policies and procedures are upheld.
  • Interact professionally when dealing with various internal and external customers, vendors, and staff. 
  • Other duties as assigned.                     

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):

  • A minimum education level of High School diploma or equivalency           
  • Minimum 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Detail oriented, highly organized, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of functions, operations and equipment of a multi-purpose sports and entertainment facility.
  • Effective professional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work assignments, multi-tasking if needed, to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, staff, guests etc.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position or move about the venue for extended periods during a shift.
  • Ability to position self to complete installations over, under, and through.
  • Ability to frequently ascend/descend ladders or stairs.
  • Ability to move materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience operating machinery such as small hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed. 

Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):

  • Conversion experience preferred, but not required.
  • Forklift Certification preferred, but not required.
