  •  Full-time, Continuing position  

  • Salary HEW Level 6 ($93,891 - $101,633) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements 

  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, and hybrid ways of working 

 

About The Role  

This position has become available due to internal mobility—an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing, award-winning Talent Acquisition team and make your mark. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you’ll play a key role in attracting and engaging great people to RMIT. You’ll partner with hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver recruitment solutions that support our academic and professional portfolios.  

 

While recruitment experience is highly regarded, we’re equally interested in people who: 

  • Have strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills 

  • Are enthusiastic about modern ways of working in talent acquisition – from leveraging automation to optimising candidate experience and process efficiency 

  • Are enthusiastic, proactive, and love connecting with people 

 

You’ll manage recruitment campaigns, build talent pools, and help create an exceptional candidate experience that reflects RMIT’s values. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners 

  • Coordinate recruitment activities and support campaigns 

  • Engage candidates and deliver a consistently first-class candidate experience throughout the process 

  • Lead campaign-based recruitment and talent pooling initiatives to build sustainable pipelines for current and future needs. 

  • Manage compliance requirements and navigate Workday for recruitment and onboarding tasks 

  • Champion RMIT’s employment brand and help us tell our story 

What We’re Looking For 

You’re a proactive, people-focused team player who enjoys problem-solving and building connections. You bring: 

  • Experience managing end-to-end, high-volume recruitment across multiple roles  

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills 

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 

  • A collaborative, customer-focused mindset 

  • Proactive and solutions focused, with the ability to drive continuous improvement. 

  • Enthusiasm for learning new systems and processes
