Based in New York City, the NYC Metro Regional Manager will report to the Vice President of Retail. You are responsible for the Region’s achievement of performance targets within the Operations and Revenue Pillars of Retail. As a motivational servant leader, you are results driven and deliver on our brand’s mission that will lead and inspire Studio Managers to achieve their targets set by the business. You are accountable to produce profitable Studios that are compliant and service ready for the team and customer that reflects Studs’ brand experience. Working in close collaboration with Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Store Development Teams while partnering with the VP of Retail to ensure purposeful execution of company directives and key initiatives within their Region, which includes studios in NYC and Washington D.C.
Salary Range: $155,000-$175,000, with equity
Key Responsibilities:
- Through weekly store visits, lead, teach and direct Studio Managers in the planning, development, and execution of sales plans and objectives to ensure achievement of sales, margin and profitability targets and goals
- Strong follow-up skills, with the ability to drive efficient Studio performance through accountability, and leading with a sense of urgency
- Proactively manage and develop Studio Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development to ensure individual and collective success in achieving regional targets and objectives
- Completes strategic assessments and is always curious about performance and processes to improve the output of the Studios
- Ensures inventory control and loss prevention measures with partnership from Operations
- Upholds brand consistency and compliance in each Studio within the region
- Develops short and long-term training strategies by assessing current business and looking ahead at targets, key business metrics, and revenue drivers
- Creates and evolves training materials for the Studs U Education Program to enhance Studio teams behaviors and best practices
- Actively leads and participates in the execution of Studio openings and follows up to ensure success to sales pro forma
- Creates a sense of belonging and strong team morale through trust and collaboration while being a Culture Champion for the brand and living out our Core Values
- Efficiently manage administrative tasks for their Region
Requirements:
- 3+ years of comparable District or Regional level experience across a similar geography required; experience with jewelry, piercing, service or hospitality based business is a plus
- Ability to work Full-Time with open availability to support the needs of a high growth emerging brand
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
- 25% travel required

- Proven expertise in effectively managing and developing a team with multiple direct reports
- Owner’s mindset, with the ability to approach feedback and problems with a positive attitude
