What will you be doing?

As a part of the capSpire team  you will use your functional and technical knowledge to design and deliver technology solutions to clients in the energy and commodity trading industries. You will work alongside market specialists with deep industry knowledge where you will have the opportunity to broaden your skill set and expertise.

What are we looking for?

  • Educational and/or professional background in a quantitative field such as engineering, science, computer science, statistics, mathematics or a closely related field.
  • Experience in implementing commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) software products such as Allegro, Openlink Right Angle, Endur.
  • Experience with languages and technologies, such as C#, Java, PHP, JavaScript, database technologies including Oracle, Sybase and/or SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of standard project management concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, adeptness with technical concepts, and a facility for learning new technology applications.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and able to thrive in a team environment.
  • Open to potential travel as required.
  • Experience in a professional services consultancy (could be a software house/vendor, consultancy), whether a Big 4/tier one consultancy or boutique IT consultancy.
