Job Description

  

Part-Time Office Coordinator – Manufacturing Operations

Location: Milpitas, CA
Schedule: Approximately 20–30 hours per week

You’ll play a key role in keeping our Milpitas manufacturing site running smoothly. As the Part‑Time Office Coordinator, you’ll support daily office operations, assist production and operations teams, and help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace. Your reliability, strong communication skills, and attention to detail will directly support our long‑term operational success.

What you’ll do

  • Manage front office activities, including phones, mail, visitors, and general correspondence.
  • Coordinate meetings, scheduling, and travel for managers and supervisors.
  • Prepare and edit reports, memos, forms, and presentations.
  • Maintain office supplies, breakroom inventory, and materials for production and support teams.
  • Support onboarding for manufacturing employees (badges, scheduling, workspace setup).
  • Serve as the point of contact for facility and maintenance needs with contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain safety supplies, first‑aid kits, signage, and assist with safety audits or inspections.
  • Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and expense reports; assist with tracking budgets.
  • Support planning of onsite events, safety meetings, trainings, and employee activities.
  • Maintain communication boards and postings to ensure compliance with company standards.

What you need

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills – required
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work with teams, vendors, and leadership – required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems – required
  • Experience in office management, facilities support, or administrative roles, ideally in a manufacturing or operations environment – required
  • Experience working with technicians, suppliers, or facility operations – preferred
  • Familiarity with workplace safety practices and basic safety protocols – preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent – required
  • Ability to move through production areas and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs – required

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000
