Job Summary:
The Success Coach for Mission Integration assists participants employed at Goodwill of Middle Tennessee through assessment, coaching and enrollment in training programs. The Success Coach supports career planning, career decision-making processes, assessment, enrollment into on-the-job training, and retention services. It is important that this individual exercise good judgment and due diligence with care when performing duties and communicating on behalf of Goodwill of Middle Tennessee. This position is responsible for and must assure that their services are in total compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This coach will help employees address barriers to successful employment.

Job Description
Essential Functions
- Works with Goodwill Retail Management and appropriate others to identify retail employees who could benefit from Success Coach services.
- Provides one-on-one coaching to identify Goodwill retail employees.
- Provides job development assistance by working collaboratively with the retail team to match identified employees to appropriate jobs and support.
- Supports employees in job retention skills.
- Assists with reasonable accommodation requests and development process for retail team members and employees.
- Conducts real time data entry, inputting necessary information into the Caseworthy data management system, maintains electronic and hard copy confidential files, documents participant progress, prepares progress reports and case notes, and completes retention employment documentation.
- Provides intensive employment comprehensive case management and career planning services to Goodwill Employees with disabilities.
- Maintains a rolling case load per Mission Integration requirements.
- Reviews assessments of employment and training needs for Goodwill Employees.
- Monitors and evaluates employee progress through coaching protocol; provides guidance and coaching to help employees resolve issues and remain motivated to maintain employment with Goodwill of Middle Tennessee.
- Provides onsite coaching and oversight during work experience activities at designated employer locations.
- Utilizes appropriate soft skills training and supports to help employees with disabilities maximize their productions, success and employment goals.
- Maintains relationships with and makes appropriate referrals to other agencies who can assist participants with supportive services designed to mitigate barriers and enhance employability.
- Meet or exceed defined program goals including but not limited to career assessments completed, individuals enrolled and receiving services, placement rates for those who completed training; execute EmployAbility projects as assigned.
- Ensure data utilization and accuracy by conducting regular audits of Caseworthy reporting.
- Ensure all data reports and administrative documents are reviewed prior to submission for leadership level approval.
- Travel to multiple sites and locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Required Skills:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or High School diploma and relevant work experience.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of workforce development, career services, vocational rehabilitation, disability services, and/or human services experience.
Knowledge/Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint .
- Resourceful, detail oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of Individual Employment Plan, Case Management and Career Solutions activities.
- Ability to analyze problems and opportunities, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop sound, effective approaches to address those issues.
- Ability to plan, implement and evaluate the achievement of goals, objectives and work-plans.
- Ability to coordinate, motivate and work well with others; experience in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a working knowledge of grammar usage, letter writing skills and proofreading.
- Must be able to set goals and complete duties and assignments under strict deadlines.
- Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Enthusiasm for organization’s mission.
- Must be able to work independently and within a larger team.
Certifications and Licenses
- A Valid Driver’s License is required.
