The Business Process Analyst (BPA) is part of the Global Supply Chain department and reports to the Supply Chain Solutions Manager located in the Mexico. Business Process Analyst (BPA) is accountable for handling supplier master data related to screening, onboarding, and managing supplier master data changes in various systems to include: Supplier Screening System (SSS); ERP Systems - ERP LN, BaaN 5c, Navision; P2P-Coupa; and Kroll (as required). Supplier data and system updates (both integrated or manual) require a good understanding of enterprise and internal procedural requirements to remain compliant and reduce risk. Individuals in the Business Analyst role act as internal Procurement Card auditors and Third-Party Intermediary Coordinators who are responsible for launching due diligence screening and re-screening, annual declarations, and act as a liaison between Legal and Supply Chain. In addition to the above, a BA’s attention to detail, analytical, organization, sense of urgency, strong communication, multitasking skills, and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment quickly and accurately are critical attributes for this role.

What will be your tasks/responsibilities?

  • Partner with IT and the process owners to create and maintain supplier master data within Solar’s Growth Enabling Systems (i.e. ERP, C-FRM) to ensure quality and consistency between all systems.
  • Operationally manage the P-card program (virtual payment card program for indirect spend)
  • Ensure compliant screening and on-boarding of our Global Supply Base.
  • Gather, document and maintain business procedures and guidelines for Supplier master data.
  • Provide resolution of global data issues and the coordination of global data corrections. Support enterprise data improvement projects.
  • Provide support and resolution to program inconsistencies
  • Provide analysis, training, troubleshooting, and general support for global customers with business process- related issues

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and intermediate skills in Visio and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of common ERP system, such as Baan5C, ERP LN, or COUPA, etc.
  • Min. 1 year working experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or IT systems, Master Data management.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good proficiency in English language.

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least bachelor’s degree in relevant area (Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, etc.).
  • Broad knowledge of Supply Chain / Procurement Organization and business processes.
  • Understanding of the enterprise data landscape and how data is used.
  • Strong ability to influence through excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and excellent attention to details.

This position requires a 5-days in office schedule.
