The Corporate Controller ensures monthly financial statements and account reconciliations are completed in a timely manner. They are responsible for reporting on the Firm’s financial activities that will assist leadership in making educated business decisions about the Firm’s future.
The Corporate Controller drives actions to achieve results while leading strategies for a sustainable competitive advantage and financial return on investment; providing technical competency to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, legal requirements and GAAP.

Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate, forecasts, goals and objectives, reconciliations, and reports and analysis
- Oversee accurate and timely provision of financial management reports including monthly financial statements, audits and budgets
- Review, analyze and evaluate financial data for accuracy, consistency and transparency
- Lead month-end closing process, directing accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial transactions, approve journal entries and review balances prior to consolidation
- Ensure financials are reported in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Develop and maintain reporting systems to provide timely and relevant information to management
- Review financial results with senior leadership and develop recommended actions to address unfavorable variances
- Establish and maintain systems and controls verifying the integrity of all systems, processes and data
- Lead and participate in various projects related to financial reporting and department efficiencies
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial report and analysis using data and software tools
- Ensure income tax compliance and accurate completion of all corporate income tax returns, taking advantage of favorable tax codes
- Contribute to overall department strategy and operating plans; assist in preparation of budget, planning and forecasting
- Support the COO in the achievement of company-wide functional objectives

Education, Experience and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Active CPA licensure preferred
- 10+ years’ experience within the Accounting function; comprised of industry and public accounting firm experience preferred
- Strong US GAAP technical accounting knowledge with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement in the application of accounting standards
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and present likely outcome and determine impacted business areas
- Experience in the adoption and use of new systems, from design to automation preferred
- Proven ability as a detail-oriented problem solver with the ability to prioritize, summarize and analyze data
Essential Functions

Salary Range:
$115,000 - $130,000
