About Us - Pharmacy

• The Inpatient Pharmacy is a fast paced, high energy department that works closely with practitioners and nursing staff to provide quality care for patients at Freeman Health System

• We play a vital role in patient care by ensuring medication availability, delivering directly to the patient care areas and maintaining inventory in medication dispensing machines throughout the system

• The Pharmacy consists of over eighty energetic, hard-working, compassionate team members

Schedule: Full-Time

Mon-Thur 7am-4:30 pm - Fri 7am -11am

What You'll Do

Assists the pharmacist in the compounding of sterile products, including chemotherapeutic and cytotoxic agents. Responds to the needs of nursing and physician staff and patients. Prepares intravenous solutions, both hazardous and non-hazardous as required, using aseptic technique. Maintains stock in IV preparation areas. Monitors functionality of equipment in IV room and performs routine required maintenance.
