Job Description:

Position: Software Engineer (Full Stack) - Remote USA
Overview:
We seek a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in software development/Maintenance and a passion for leveraging modern technologies to deliver innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming, environment management, operations, tooling, and vulnerability scanning.

Responsibilities:
•    Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Java, JavaScript, Angular, and SQL.
•    Knowledge to Design and deploy applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle environments.
•    Experience in Using ServiceNOW as a tool for daily support operations.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features is an added advantage.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues promptly.
•    Maintain documentation for software design, code, and operations.
•    Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to incorporate into development practices.

Requirements:
•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
•    A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
•    Proficient in programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Angular, and SQL.
•    Knowledge with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle. Hands-on experience is a plus
•    Experience with operations and tooling using ServiceNow.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
•    Excellent English written and oral communication.

Work Environment:
•    Remote work within USA.
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. 

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $66,500 - $123,400.
