Purity Bakeries Ltd., a leading manufacturer of bread and bakery products, is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Mobile Retailer.  This position reports to the Retail Manager.

THE ROLE: 

The Mobile Retailer’s primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Operating a mobile sales unit to sell and promote baked goods across designated routes and customer locations.
  • Achievement of sales target in full.
  • Actively promote products, upselling them where appropriate, and introducing new items.
  • Build strong customer relationships to drive loyalty and repeat sales.
  • Timely submission of daily product orders.
  • Display products attractively within the mobile unit to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Manage cash by accurately counting & issuing change to customers.
  • Ensure cash float at end of day is correct.
  • Execute daily route plans effectively, while ensuring timely departure from Purity Bakeries in the morning to prevent delays.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspection by filing out checklist and reporting all mechanical or other related issues.
  • Maintain mobile unit cleanliness and ensure the vehicle meets regulatory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • A minimum of three (3) CXC’s including English Language and Mathematics.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a sales or customer service environment.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to engage customers, promote products, and build lasting relationships.
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and capable of managing cash, inventory, and daily reporting accurately.
  • Must be a self‑motivated individual who works well independently, presents themselves professionally
