Entry Level / 0-1 Year Experience
Autodesk Identity Access and Management team is seeking a talented and highly motivated Software
Engineer who enjoys learning, problem-solving, and building reliable software solutions. As a member of
the team responsible for foundational identity services, you will contribute to Autodesk's Identity Access
Management Platform, which supports millions of Autodesk customers and is used by 150+ Autodesk
desktop, mobile, web applications, cloud services, and third-party developer integrations.
You will work with modern cloud technologies, collaborate with experienced engineers, and gain hands-on
experience in building scalable, secure, and reliable services that are critical to Autodesk's products and
customers.
Responsibilities
l Work as a member of a self-organized agile team that builds, owns, and runs cloud services.
l Contribute to the development of cloud services, including backend, frontend, DevOps, and quality-related
activities.
l Assist with service operations such as monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and troubleshooting.
l Work closely with senior engineers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements and
implement solutions.
l Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code under guidance from senior team members.
l Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies.
l Learn and apply best practices for scalability, reliability, usability, and security.
l Support continuous improvement of existing systems by identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
l Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related
technical field.
l 0-1 year of relevant software engineering experience, including internships, academic projects, or
professional experience.
l Good understanding of basic computer science and programming concepts.
l Hands-on experience with at least one programming language such as C#, Go, Java, or Python.
l Familiarity with web services, REST APIs, and client-server architecture.
l Basic understanding of databases, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
l Willingness to learn cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and production service operations.
l Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
