Our Digital Technology (DT) Team is growing and searching for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and dedicated team member to be part of the Raytheon Solipsys Desktop Support Team under Information Technology.
We are seeking a Service Desk Support Technician to work onsite in Fulton, MD. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the compute needs of all employees and be their first point of contact to ask questions on how to use existing IT equipment in the organization, including laptops, desktops, phones (desktop and mobile), conference room AV systems, and printers. Additionally, you will be involved in the backend support of all technologies used in the company and working with fellow members of the Information Technology department to support and recommend new technologies for use in the organization. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to convey information in a tactful manner and at the technical proficiency of the audience and keeping up to date with current technology trends and future innovations.
What You Will Do:
Provide support for computing equipment, software, mobile devices, and other technologies used by the employees.
Coordinate repair, installation, or replacement of equipment and software.
Maintain, update, and deploy system images.
Maintain, update, and provision mobile devices.
Create, update, remove accounts and permissions within an Active Directory environment.
Maintain parts, equipment, and software inventories.
Account for all work in an ITSM platform, including status and resolution/root cause.
Document, maintain, and improve processes and procedures.
Stay up to date with current technology innovations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
CompTIA (A+ and/or Network+) Certifications or eligible to achieve certification.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued secret clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Highly motivated with the ability to provide creative solutions to complex problems.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for racking or transporting equipment.
Ability to communicate well in oral and written form.
Self-driven and highly motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience professionally supporting Virtualization environments.
Experience professionally supporting Windows and Linux environments.
Active Secret Security Clearance.

The salary range for this role is 45,600 USD - 79,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
