Core Responsibilities

•
Design, develop, and maintain software applications using various Workday programming languages and technologies.
•
Collaborate with the development team to analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement new features.
•
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
•
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality, understanding debugging methodology and tools.
•
Knowing and adhering to the principles and practices of testing and supporting where necessary
•
Be able to comply with industry recognised compliance practices ie. GDPR etc.
Required Experience and Skills
•
Provide technical support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
•
Diagnose and troubleshoot software problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Clear writing of documentation from commit messages to user documentation. Also making use of available documentation.

Ability to understand and discuss component design including design patterns, code structure, testability and maintainability; being able to recognise good practice.
