As a Senior Project Manager reporting to the AVP- Delivery Management, you'll lead complex, high-impact technology projects from initiation through completion. You'll own project strategy, execution, and stakeholder management across Nasdaq's technology initiatives, ensuring successful delivery that meets business requirements, quality standards, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver large-scale technology projects independently, including systems integration, architecture initiatives, and new product development.
  • Coordinate resources, budgets, and timelines across cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet specifications, quality standards, and business objectives.
  • Apply formal project management methodologies to manage risks, changes, and dependencies in a matrix environment.
  • Lead simultaneous projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and project success.
  • Ensure project governance, reporting, and delivery standards are consistently met or exceeded.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated success in project delivery.
  • 8+ years of experience managing technology or business projects.
  • Formal Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • Proven ability to independently manage large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills with a track record of driving accountability and results.
  • Experience managing projects involving systems integration, architecture, or custom technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced certifications in Agile, Scrum, or portfolio management.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with technology platforms, cloud environments, and enterprise architecture.

This position will be located in Toronto and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.

The base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $129,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
