Role Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Service Insights and Modeling (SIM), the Data Analyst will play a vital role in enhancing the analytical capabilities of the team. 

Analytics, Modeling & Forecasting

The primary objective of this role will be to continue to grow the time series forecasting and accuracy tracking capabilities of the SIM team.  This role will start by understanding and evaluating SIM’s current forecasting and modeling capabilities then continue to enhance them.   This role will also spend time performing various ad hoc analyses to deliver insights to SIM stakeholders as opportunities occur. 

Visualizations & Business Unit Communication

This position will have a strategic role in developing new visualizations that will increase transparency and provide new business insights pertaining to forecasting and accuracy.  The individual will also actively work with their SIM peers to communicate business line performance to SIM’s business partners. 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Operations Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related degrees and fields
  • 3+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with writing SQL queries
  • Proficiency with Python including experience with machine learning packages
  • Experience with visualization software like Tableau or BI to communicate business performance and status

Preferred:

  • Experience with Snowflake and JupyterHub
  • Experience with AnyLogic or any other simulation-based software or programming
  • Experience with ARIMAS, Prophet, and other time series forecasting methods
  • Experience with linear programming and solving optimization-based problems with mathematical solvers
  • Ability to develop and communicate analytical results and insights for partners at all levels within the organization, including senior management
  • Strong interpersonal skills:  ability to build the trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through on-going dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work up to two days a week.

Base salary range:

$54,500.00 - $92,500.00 USD

For the location of:

Colorado Springs, CO

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
