The Transformation Program Management is responsible for the governance of Citi’s Transformation Program and the related, centralized processes and procedures required to effectively manage the oversight and execution of the Transformation Action Plan. 

The Transformation Governance & Process Program Management Lead is a strategic professional who contributes to directional strategy and will be a subject matter expert for providing direction to the larger transformation program as it relates to centralized processes and procedures applicable to all teams involved in this program, both within and outside of the COO. The Lead will need to effectively partner with stakeholders across the COO and business functions to drive compliance with these processes, continually improve the guidance and drive towards efficient and sustainable best practices. This role may also be involved in the creation of reporting directly shared with the Regulators.

The work performed by the Lead impacts the effectiveness of the Transformation Program Management, which impacts the overall execution of the Transformation Program. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and/or departs. Provides advice and counsel related to the Transformation Program Management governance of committees and forums and related processes.


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advises stakeholders as governance and/or process subject-matter-expert
  • Manages committee & process administration, including gathers updates and creates meeting decks; monitors risks, issues and escalations
  • Oversees program group sponsor forums and ensures they meet minimum standards governance requirements
  • Performs quality reviews of stakeholder delivered documentation
  • Liaises with program group to ensure clarity regarding documentation requirements
  • Updates procedures and/or minimum standards when required
  • Manages and maintains recordkeeping documentation to ensure an audit ready environment
  • Prepares metrics, progress, and status reports
  • Monitors reports to ensure appropriate process steps are followed by stakeholders
  • Oversees planning, direction, execution, and monitoring of day-to-day activities related to central Transformation processes
  • Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards
  • Supports stakeholders as governance and/or process subject-matter-expert
  • Supports the preparation and maintenance of progress and status reports
  • Leads the identification and drive resolution of issues, including those outside established programs of work
  • Escalates program risks to TPM and / or COO Management, when appropriate
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead, motivate and influence others; diplomacy skills to negotiate and persuade at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with people at senior levels and to facilitate discussions at medium levels.
  • Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), especially in data entry/extract/reporting
  • Excellent organizational, project/program management skills with proven experience driving large, dynamic programs with a sense of urgency.
  • Proactivity, multitasking and ability to Coordinate interdisciplinary teams in projects of high impact and change management.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership and drive parts of the program/project
  • Sound awareness of business policies, processes, structure and applications across the bank.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • Experience with Citi organization a plus
  • Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced work environment

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
