Position Summary

The Clinical Program Manager for the Adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Family Resiliency (ADBT) Program will provide both direct clinical services and program leadership. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality DBT-A treatment to adolescents and families while also overseeing program development, clinical training, and supervision of staff. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DBT-A, a passion for adolescent mental health, and strong leadership skills to guide a multidisciplinary team in evidence-based care.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual DBT therapy and facilitate DBT skills groups for adolescents and their families.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and risk management for program participants.
  • Participate in DBT consultation team meetings to ensure adherence to the treatment model.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and community providers to support comprehensive care.
  • Keep appropriate documentation in EMR and preparation for sessions.
  • Provide clinical supervision to therapists, trainees, and other DBT team members.
  • Lead training initiatives to ensure fidelity to DBT and promote professional development within the team.
  • Work with department leadership on program evaluation, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Stay current with DBT research and best practices, integrating new findings into program development.

    The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated psychotherapist with program management expertise and at least three years of experience implementing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to fidelity with adolescents and their families (Linehan board certification or equivalent is preferred).

    M.S.W. - Master of Social Work, Master's degree - Counseling, Master's degree - Psychology

    Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Licensed Psychologist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) - American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT)

    Salary Range

    $62,000.00 - $96,100.00 / Annually

    The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
