What You'll Do:
Reviews/Reconciles payroll processes and controls. Calculates/verifies pay adjustments, overtime, termination pay, special payments, direct deposits and other deductions.
Reviews reports to verify that data accuracy and make corrections as necessary. Balances and reviews time data submitted through multiple time keeping systems. Runs processes in system and assists with the processing of payroll.
Assists employees/customers with questions regarding their paycheck via various modes of communication.
Required Education:
Associate's in a job-related field
Degree Equivalency:
2 years job related work experience
Required Experience:
3 years of payroll experience OR 2 years of relevant work experience that includes accounting, payroll, finance, financial/cash reconciliation and obtained Fundamental Payroll Certification
Required Skills and Abilities:
Good judgment skills. Attention to details. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar skills. Effective organizational and customer service skills. Ability to persuade, negotiate, or influence others. Analytical or critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and work under deadlines. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
