Key Responsibilities
Content Development & Management
Create clear, concise, well-structured internal and external documentation that supports product understanding and adoption.
Manage documentation assignments end-to-end, from intake through publishing.
Create and maintain documentation with tools including Madcap Flare, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Sitecore.
Contribute to content governance by managing scheduled updates aligned with product releases.
Technical Aptitude & Tools
Learn and apply XML-based authoring tools such as MadCap Flare.
Use version control and build management tools including Git, TeamCity, and Bitbucket Stash; independently troubleshoot common issues such as merge conflicts and build warnings.
Manipulate screenshots and graphics using Adobe Suite, CAD/3D tools, and other graphic-editing applications.
Maintain documentation source files across multiple platforms and tools.
Collaboration & Process
Partner with product management, engineering, and sales enablement to gather requirements and deliver accurate, timely documentation in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Follow established workflows, standards, and style guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
Provide well-organized source files for localization efforts.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Learn to develop templates, layouts, and graphics as part of scalable documentation frameworks.
Propose, pitch, and gain buy-in for new ideas that improve content quality and process efficiency.
Develop growing subject-matter expertise by researching and analyzing technical issues.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Intermediate understanding of technical writing principles and methodologies.
Experience with Microsoft Office, HTML/CSS, and CAD software.
Familiarity with content management principles and structured authoring concepts.
Strong time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years of experience in technical writing.
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, or related field.
Experience with version control, build management, and XML-based authoring tools.
C1 proficiency in the English language.
Experience in machine vision or automation technologies preferred.
