This Position reports to:

Senior Engineering Manager

 

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your skills by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

This role is contributing to the Automation – Energy Division in Bangalore- India Region

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Delivered on‑site and remote support for DCS Automation Systems in the power industry, including troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning activities.

• Contributed to application development, design, and commissioning projects, ensuring smooth execution and system reliability.

• Identified technical issues during customer interactions, performed root cause analysis, and recommended corrective and preventive actions.

• Documented best practices, tracked site issues, and implemented improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.

• Ensured commissioning readiness by preparing material lists and coordinating the availability of parts, tools, and equipment, maintained high safety standards.

Qualifications for the role:

• You enjoy working with industrial automation in the power / thermal power market.

• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial automation DCS commissioning in process automation industry.

• You possess enhanced knowledge of 800xA/any DCS.

• You are motivated by stakeholder management and team management.

• You have a Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Instrumentation.

• Good communication skills , with willingness to travel Pan India for commissioning assignments.
