Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide engineering support under general direction.
2. Assist management and engineering to specify, develop, justify, document, implement and sustain assembly processes equipment and materials.
3. Improve yield, efficiency and capacity of processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
4. Investigate and recommend solutions to manufacturing challenges.
5. Develop and/or conduct experiments to identify root cause of problems and evaluate process capabilities.
6. Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
7. Understand. Create. Simplify.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge in statistics
Working knowledge in project management
Ability to train technical and non-technical staff
Effective writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Background check results satisfactory to SEL
Negative drug test result(s)

Preferred Qualifications

B.S in Mechanical Engineering

Two years experience in a related world class manufacturing company
Thorough understanding of the materials used in the industry
Ability to lead a cross functional team
Project management skills

Pay Range Data

Pay range for position is $84,200 - $124,500 per year. Our compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role. Starting pay is determined individually and considers factors such as relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and training. Candidates may be considered at different levels based on their background. As a result, pay may vary to align with the level of the role.
