Job Description:

Manager Talent Acquisition Programs

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Manager Talent Acquisition Programs is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, implementation, and execution of enterprise-wide talent acquisition programs, such as college recruiting/internships, veteran hiring, disability hiring, returnships, apprenticeships, rotational development training programs, sourcing strategies, technology, and operational reporting.

  • Designing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to meet organizational needs Proficient in extracting meaningful insights, crafting compelling narratives, and effectively communicating complex data to a diverse audience.
  • Hire, lead, coach and mentor team members to deliver on defined operational metrics, and compliance.
  • Empowers the team to execute against functional goals by effectively managing the team’s performance and providing subject matter expert guidance.
  • Evaluate team competencies against talent acquisition competency model and develop goals to ensure continued professional growth.
  • Collaborate by bringing all key stakeholders (Business, HR and TA) together in a pro-active manner to align with business objectives and prioritized needs.
  • Drive technology focused strategies, tools and methodologies to find, attract, assess, and select the best talent in the marketplace.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of talent acquisition experience, with five (5) years leading projects and initiatives experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • 2 years of experience creating talent acquisition-related strategies such as process improvement, strategic sourcing, diversity initiatives.
  • 2 years of experience managing large, complex programs with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience building an enterprise-wide talent pipeline program strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience with university relations and/or veteran and DEI hiring initiatives strongly preferred.
  • Strongly preferred in-depth knowledge of the talent acquisition landscape in health insurance industry.
  • Masters degree.
  • Professional HR / TA Certification(s) .
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills to collaborate with hiring managers, business leaders, internal resources and external stakeholders.
