As the Selling and marketing excellence Head you will manage/lead/be responsible for end-to-end ownership of capability building programs for selling and marketing teams.

As Selling and marketing excellence Head, you will be LOC focal point liaising with EM Selling and Marketing excellence director to define LOC needs and align plans in line with LOC priorities.
Partner with LOC business units and establish operational plans and deliver solutions to build capability for Marketing, sales and Commercial operations teams and drive commercial performance.

Strategy & Operations

  •  Align the SE&ME strategy with the business unit priorities. Enable to use delivery of business outcomes through excellent execution and capability building.
  • To work in a highly collaborative way with the business unit leaders with a focus on jointly creating solutions, providing expertise & driving commercial excellence.
  • Lead team of selling excellence managers to design and implement capability programs in alignment with EM and LOC priorities.
  • Track the implementation of the selling and Marketing excellence strategy and operational plan using appropriate KPIs and scorecards.

Learning & Capability

  • Identify TNA across commercial (sales, marketing and commercial operations) teams using qualitative and quantitative data at individual, team and Business unit level.
  • Design and lead impactful training and onboarding programs for Sales reps, sales managers and marketers that adopt learning principles and align with the 70/20/10 development framework.
  • Contribute to create a culture of learning and self-development.
  • Help to align marketing materials for the business unit to guarantee that campaign assets, call flows and knowledge tests meet high standards of Good Sell Outcome and maintain high levels of campaign efficacy.
  • Where appropriate, expertly manage approved external agencies to create high quality, good value L&D solutions.

Drive Performance & Impact

  • Design and lead annual brand plan (ABP) with customer-centric approach supported with tools, resources which enable more efficient ABP processes.
  • Partner with BUHs to Leverage and align Launch readiness processes.
  • Celebrate best practices and share learnings across sales and marketing organizations.
  • Collaborate with insights team and track marketing campaign effectiveness based on brand and BU level then identify marketing capabilities gaps.
  • lead effective implementation of GSO/GCO improvement plans for Sales teams.
  • Leverage performance management process in alignment with SFI guidance.

Omnichannel change partner:

 Act as catalyst of the Omnichannel Transformation program within LOC and in collaboration with Omni POD, helping to build support and excitement around the Omnichannel transformation, and facilitate the adoption of new processes, systems, or behaviors. This includes:

  • Communicating the benefits and goals of the Omnichannel Marketing Process and
     new delivery model to their BUs, brands, and other colleagues.
  • Assessing Omnichannel marketing strengths and gaps at a brand level.
  • Providing feedback to the Omni POD team on what is working well and what needs improvement.
  • Identifying potential change barriers or areas of resistance across whole organization
    and work to overcome them by bringing innovative solutions.
  • Helping to train and support marketers in the new processes and systems associated with enabling better omnichannel marketing.
  • Coordinating with other omnichannel change champions to create connection and flow with all relevant stakeholders across organization.
  • Celebrating successes and milestones achieved throughout the change management project of omnichannel deployment.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications about the standardized omnichannel marketing process
  • Collaborate with Omni POD and SE&ME teams to determine when and how training on new Omnichannel processes and tools is appropriate for the broader Enterprise.

• In all areas, lead and demonstrate an understanding of compliance with laws, codes of conduct, policies and frameworks in which GSK operates and live our vision, values and expectations fostering this conduct among GSK.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • A pharmacist is a must.
  • 10 or more years of experience in Pharma industry.
  • 5 or more years of experience in senior or managerial level Sales & Marketing roles
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Masters level degree in Sales and marketing.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise
  • Learning and Development experience.
