The Director of Product Operations – Supply Chain Inventory Center of Excellence is responsible for driving the strategic direction of Product Operations programs. This leader oversees the efficient implementation and maintenance of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and exceptional patient experiences. Cleveland Clinic’s Supply Chain is ranked No. 1 in the nation by Gartner. 

 

This is the ideal role for an experienced leader with good technical ability and understanding, as they will lead the implementation and optimization of our advanced supply chain technology, such as Wavemark and other operational technologies. The organization will be starting a new demand planning division in the Center of Excellence, and this leader will help to craft the vision and strategy of this new area.  

    

This is a remote position, with travel to visit hospitals on a regular basis as part of overseeing projects. This includes travel to sites in Florida and potentially overseas. 

  

A caregiver who excels in this role, will: 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Product Operations team. 

  • Set strategic priorities to advance the department’s effectiveness and impact. 

  • Act as a strategic liaison with sales, clinical teams and external partners. 

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for growth, collaboration and shared goals. 

  • Ensure programs are designed to enhance patient care and maximize operational efficiency. 

  • Montior program performance against strategic objectives and adjust strategies as needed. 

  • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of designated Product Operations programs. 

  • Develop, enhance and maintain efficient operational systems and procedures within the department. 

  • Continuously evaluate workflow processes to identify opportunities for optimization and enhanced productivity. 

  • Implement and oversee the sales technology tool for multiple departments. 

  

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7 years of professional experience and functionally relevant experience, including 5 years of demonstrated management experience 

  • OR master’s degree and 5 years of experience 

  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, effective relationship building and the ability to work with minimal supervision 

  

Preferred qualifications for the ideal caregiver include: 

  • Master's degree 

  • Experience as a Benefits Consultant or Director of Employee Benefits 

  • Experience with benefits communications and campaigns 

  • Experience consulting for or selling to Fortune 100 companies 

  • Experience using CRM tools
